Ale & Axes is a free idle MMORPG that runs in your browser. It brings back the professions, raids, gear, and theorycrafting you loved in games like WoW and Black Desert, but on an idle clock, so you can enjoy it in a few minutes a day instead of losing your weekends to it. Under the idle surface there's a proper RPG. You build a roster of adventurers, each with a class, an armour type, and a full stat and ability build to tune. You send squads of three on raids that run for hours or even days, then reveal the result and read a turn-by-turn combat log to see why you won or lost. Gear never drops ready-made: you level gathering and crafting professions, make and enchant every piece yourself, and trade for the rest on a player-run auction house, since nobody can master every profession alone. On top of that there are multi-phase world bosses, a stat-normalised PvP arena that comes down to skill rather than spending, and monthly leaderboards to climb.

The whole thing is built to respect your time. Queue up some crafts and a raid, close the tab, get on with your day, and come back to loot and your next decision.
